To Register
Click Register and fill in the required details. Please note that your details will not be passed to any third party and are only used for identification within this site.
Make a note of your user name and password
Login
Once registered you Login using your user name and password.
When logged in you can either create a new group or join an existing group of friends or family.
Create a group
To create a group click Create Group and fill in the required information as indicated.
The group description can be anything you wish that describes your group or family.
The group image is optional but it is quite nice to see a photo of your group if you have one.
Invite Friends
Once you have created your group you are able to click Invite Friends this enables you to send your group name and password together with a preformatted invitation to join your group.
Join a group
To join an existing group you click Join Group then you enter the group name and password provided by one of the existing group member's typically from the Invite Friends email.
Existing member once logged in
If you are now a registered user and logged in, you will see your groups listed. Clicking on a group will show all member's of your group.
Add a Gift to your own wish list
Click on Add a Gift Fill in the required information. The Item image is optional as is the link to the web site from which the item can be bought. If you find your item on any of the sites listed in the Useful Links section then you should copy and paste it to this area. This makes it convenient for the person wishing to buy the item.
To view a member's wish list
Click a group member's name. You will be presented with their wish list of presents.
To elect to buy a gift for a group member.
You must first view a member's wish list.
Click Add to Buying list on the item you wish to buy. You will be presented with your own buying list which now includes the item you have just clicked to buy. Now just click the black shopping cart of that item changing it to a tick. The item will no longer show on the member's wish list.
To remove a present from Items you are buying.
Click Items I am buying on the line you wish to remove click remove under the action column. This will return the item to the group member's wish list.
Message board
To leave a message for your group just click Message Board and enter your message.
Don’t forget to look each time you login to see if you have a new message.
Pastimes
To view our interesting articles just click on Pastimes You will see a list of items in summary form. To view the detail of an article just click the link at the bottom of the article.
