After a celebratory lunch my family were sitting around the dinner table and although it was only September the subject
of Christmas came up with the usual hue and cry, what can I get you, what do you want... Isn't it the same problem every
year?
What we all want to avoid is the aimless trudge around the shops in search of the elusive gift that we think that person
would like. Then after many fruitless visits to the shops and total desperation we buy something that the recipient will
find useless and invariably we spend too much just to solve the problem.
Then someone said “wouldn't it be a good idea to have a web site so that we could all login and enter what each of us would
like we could then choose what to buy from the list, but it mustn't show the recipient who is buying the gift”.
 This conversation started the ball rolling and the result is this website.
It is not exclusive to families. Any group of people can sign up and one person is not restricted
to being a member of one group he or she can be a member of any number of groups.
Once you have registered and logged in you can email your friends telling then of you group name and password and inviting them to join your group.
To help you to communicate with other members of your group we have provided your group
with their own message board.
As a means of helping you with ideas we are also building up a portfolio of pastimes and
interesting links to help with your shopping ideas and just maybe we will help to ease the trauma of what to buy.
The site is not just for Christmas it can be used for Weddings, Birthdays or for that special occasion, so keep your gift wish list going all through the year and you can be sure your friends and family will only buy what you want.
For our part we will make sure that the "Useful Links" contains top quality suppliers and ideas.
